Eight Jackpot Blitz dealerless poker tables from Jackpot Digital Inc. are now open at Pechanga Resort Casino near Temecula, California, after a July 2026 agreement between the supplier and the property. The opening was announced in mid-October 2026. Jackpot Digital says the installation is its largest rollout at a single casino so far, and Pechanga has placed the units in a busy table games area and launched them with several promotions. No contract value or revenue-sharing terms were disclosed.
The eight tables and their location
Jackpot Digital's announcement and a later Kalkine Media report describe the rollout. The units are located in the table games pit adjacent to the casino floor escalator. At the ribbon-cutting were Pechanga Development Corporation board members, property executives and Jackpot Digital leaders. Each machine uses a 75-inch touchscreen and a proprietary card-bending mechanism, while players still sit across from one another around a shared table and the system handles dealing and play electronically.
Why labor economics are central
Traditional poker is labor-intensive. According to Kalkine Media's analysis, a table running all day needs dealers across several shifts plus supervisors, and personnel costs are typically the main expense attached to the game. Casinos charge a rake on each pot to recover that cost, but the rake has practical limits because players can choose nearby card rooms or walk away when the fee rises. Those pressures have led some properties to cut back or close poker rooms. A dealerless table aims to retain poker's social, face-to-face format while removing dealer pay and benefit costs and increasing the number of hands dealt. The operational effect only materializes if players are willing to accept an electronic dealer.
A marquee property as a scale test
The Pechanga Band of Indians owns and runs the resort. Jackpot Digital's July announcement described the property as one of the largest and best-known gaming and hospitality destinations in the country. The release said the gaming floor covers more than 200,000 square feet, with 5,500 slots and 151 table games, along with an AAA Four Diamond hotel. Jackpot Digital also said installing eight tables at a resort of this stature gives other operators a reference point for adopting dealerless poker at scale. Because the units are in the main table games zone instead of a separate card room, they sit in front of foot traffic from guests who did not come specifically for poker. That location supports Pechanga's goal of attracting newcomers and creates a visible test of whether casual visitors will sit down.
Promotions and management comments
Pechanga started the launch with cash games, tournaments, giveaways and bad beat jackpots, with additional promotions planned. Paul Mollo, the resort's vice-president of table games, said in the release that the setup is designed for first-time poker players as well as experienced regulars. Jake Kalpakian, Jackpot Digital's president and chief executive, called the opening an important milestone and said it shows the company's dealerless platform can scale.
Financial and performance details are missing
Neither the October opening nor the July agreement disclosed a purchase price, payment structure, or how revenue would be shared. Jackpot Digital has not released independent operating data from Pechanga showing that labor expenses have fallen, that more hands are being dealt per hour, or that the tables are adding net revenue. Until those figures are published, the operational impact remains a supplier projection rather than a confirmed result.
